Devid be careful swinging a hammer demolishing a stone wall. You should be wearing a hard hat so that you don't get hit in the head with a rock it could have some serious problems. Please be safe when swinging hammers, or doing any demolishing.

WOW & OMG! A decision made without critical thinking fueled by stubbornness and spite - with a 4 week mother-in-law deadline! Solid blockwork, solid jambs all destroyed. You could have made this work for your mother-in-law in 4 weeks - but you wasted calendar time, labor, and materials. How sad. The only thing left to say is good luck!

Considering it cracked away from the main house and the walls built with thin aerated concrete blocks it looks like a newer extension but they didn’t do a very good job. When you rebuild it, I’m positive it will last much longer and it will be more stable even if you’ll build it in wood. Good use for all that glass too. And ❤ your new ring.
